The Chicken Which Should be Banned

"Do you put dimethylpolysiloxane, an anti-foaming agent made of silicone, in your chicken dishes?

How about tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), a chemical preservative so deadly that just five grams can kill you?

These are just two of the ingredients in a McDonalds Chicken McNugget. Only 50 percent of a McNugget is actually chicken. The other 50 percent includes corn derivatives, sugars, leavening agents and completely synthetic ingredients."

So, I like today's Google image... it's fun, kinda like the images between episode and commercial break on Fringe.

"X-rays were first observed and documented in 1895 by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen, a German scientist who found them quite by accident when experimenting with vacuum tubes. "

My relationship with World of Warcraft

So... they might have finally driven me away for good this time. They've done so much to Warriors that I just don't care for, and well... that's all I play. I don't really want to make another toon of another class... I literally have MONTHS of my life tied up in this toon and I just can't justify another ya know? I don't know, I need to make my decisiont his month, before Cataclysm comes out

Jet-Powered 'Rocket Man' Flies Loop the Loops

I want one. Seriously, that's all I have to say. I want one.

"Swiss adventurer Yves Rossy jumped from a hot-air balloon Friday and completed two aerial loops using just his custom-made jet-propelled wingsuit -- the first time such maneuvers have been performed.

It was just the latest daredevil stunt by the former fighter pilot who hopes one day to fly through the Grand Canyon.

Rossy, 51, launched himself from a replica of the Breitling Orbiter -- the first balloon to be piloted nonstop around the world in 1999 -- at an altitude of 7,874 feet (2,400 meters) near Lake Geneva. Then he fired up the jets on his new -- smaller and sleeker -- wingsuit to perform the loopings before landing safely with a parachute." See the rest HERE

FCC warns of looming mobile spectrum crunch

Everytime I turn around, they are freaking out about the spectrum for tv, radio, phones, etc. Maybe in a world where there is little of the spectrum left for use... people will start making better products, and instead of toting around 2-3 devices that are eating up singals (and ip's but don't get me started on that, that's an entirely different gripe of mine) people will start carring 1 and then perhaps we will also see content providers become more efficient when it comes to the size of their data instead of making things bigger and bulkier when it comes to file size.

"Can wireless carriers' mobile broadband networks keep pace with the fast-growing demand for mobile data? Maybe not. The Federal Communication Commission predicts a "looming spectrum crunch" in a recently published paper, Mobile Broadband: The Benefits of Additional Spectrum.

According to FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, "The explosive growth in mobile communications is outpacing our ability to keep up. If we don't act to update our spectrum policies for the 21st century, we're going to run into a wall -- a spectrum crunch -- that will stifle American innovation and economic growth and cost us the opportunity to lead the world in mobile communications."" Google Instant goes mobile

How about... Google Instant goes away! Within minutes of this going live for pc's I saw it and immediately disabled it. I find it quite annoying, does anyone else?

"A beta version of Google Instant is now available on many U.S. iPhone and Android mobile devices.

According to the Google Blog, the Instant search option is presently on Android 2.2 devices, as well as iPhones and iPods running on iOS 4. As of right now, Google Instant is only available in English, although Google (Google) plans on adding more languages and bringing the service to other countries and devices.

In order to test out Instant's latest incarnation, one must tap the "turn on" link beneath the search box while visiting Google.com on a mobile device. Users are advised to wait for a bit and refresh the page if the "turn on" option isn't immediately visible." See the rest HERE

Sharp to launch 3-D phones

Well, while some people might say cool... first I say this is annoying, second phones have been doing this in Japan (and probably China) for over a year now.

"Movies in 3-D. Video games in 3-D. Television in 3-D. Now, get ready for your phone's screen to broadcast images in three dimensions. Sharp Electronics will debut a pair of handsets that render 3-D images without the need for glasses." See the rest HERE
