These images were computer-generated by OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 using the following text prompt “a baroque painting of Thomas the Train experiencing grief”. What I find interesting here is that it substituted an actual boy as Thomas in some instances, I’ve ran a few Thomas the train queries and this is the first time it has done that.

The daily theme for the day on the DALL-E 2 discord is “city skylines” so I thought I would have a go at generating some wood carving city skylines. I like bands like Heilung, an experimental folk music band made up of members from Denmark, Norway, and Germany. Their music is based on texts and runic inscriptions from Germanic peoples of the Bronze Age, Iron Age, and Viking Age, and they just put up a new video the other day. This inspired me to try the query “pagans with deer skull masks performing a ritual” in OpenAI’s DALL-E 2. All of these images are computer-generated
