There is a private Discord server for individuals with access to OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 and while sharing some of my preferred styles to add to queries someone shared “crochet granny squares with me” so I decided to give it a few tests, these are the first images I found worth saving and were computer-generated with the following query “photo of a dragon made from crochet granny squares”

So the YouTube channel LGR has had Cool Crab in several of his videos and Cool Crab also gets a lot of attention in his subreddit /r/LGR so I decided to feed OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 the prompt “Cool crab using a vintage computer” today to see what awesomeness we could get. The following images are computer-generated from the above prompt.

I then ran the following query “Cool crab using a vintage computer on a beach”

If you browse through my creations you’ll see I really like doing queries containing “Baroque” as I’ve always been a big fan of Baroque pieces. That said, these computer-generated images were made by OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 with the following prompt “a baroque painting of an alien abduction”

DALL-E 2: Transforming stills from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared

There’s a (disturbing to all that are sane) video series on YouTube called “Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared”. The creatures in these videos are visually interesting so I thought I’d give DALL-E 2 some stills and see what alternate images it would generate. In this series the original image will be first, followed by 5 computer-generated alternate versions.

So, everyone loves Halloween right? Well I love Baroque paintings and Halloween so I thought I would give OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 the following query “a baroque painting of the most Halloween of Halloweens with skeletons and vampires”. These computer-generated images are AWESOME!

Since I’m a mostly-done strength athlete, and still have gobs and gobs of strength athlete friends, I decided to see what OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 could do given some sort of strength prompt. These digital images were generated entirely by the following prompt “sculpture of a female strongman made from bronze, studio lighting, Sigma 85 mm f/1.4”

DALL-E 2: h.r. giger drawing of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints

I’ve figured out that OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 is really good at generating H. R. Giger inspired art. I was curious to see what sort of temples it might create given the following query “h.r. giger drawing of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints”, oh man, a few of these are Amazing. Can you imagine if a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint temples actually looked like one of these?! Some of the temples have a lot of non-members going to them for prom, wedding, quinceanera, etc photos but if some of them looked like this I think you’d have gobs of cosplayers showing up too!

These are hands down the coolest things I’ve generated with OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 today. I fed the system the prompt “h.r. giger drawing of vintage computers” and it generated these digital images. Siiiick!

DALL-E 2: a photo of a steampunk spaceship

Steampunk stuff can be pretty fun so I decided to give OpenAI’s DALL-E 2 the query “ a photo of a steampunk spaceship” to see what sort of computer generated creation it could churn out. While some of these have some glitchy bits, they mostly look like real objects that someone crafted up.
