Please join me in remembering a great icon. Veteran Pillsbury spokesperson, The Pillsbury Doughboy, died yesterday of a severe yeast infection and complications from repeated pokes to the belly. He was 71. Doughboy was buried in a slightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out, including Mrs. Butterworth, the California Raisins, Hungry Jack, Betty Crocker, the Twinkie the Kid, Captain Crunch and many others.
The graveside was piled high with flours as long-time friend, Aunt Jemima, delivered the eulogy, describing Doughboy as a man who "never knew how much he was kneaded."
Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with many turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, even as a crusty old man, he was still considered a roll model for millions.
Toward the end it was thought he'd raise once again, but he was no tart.
Doughboy is survived by his second wife, Play Dough. They have two children and one in the oven. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
There has been a great disturbance in the force as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
Battle for LA picked a bad day to release, doubt many people want to go see aliens crash in the ocean making tsunamis & destroying cities
I suspect te CME of the March 7th 2011 behind the 8.9 earthquake. Stay tuned for another aroudn the 19th when the Moon comes it's closest to the earth in a bit, within an hour of a full moon at that.
My birthday is the 23rd. I have a hunch around the 19th there will be a considerable earthquake, likely in the Americas.
13 years ago today I watched my father die. I watched a room full of hardened police weep as their friend, and in some cases mentor, took his last breaths. Last night my subconcious mind decided to let me fish one more time with my father as I slept. Thanks for stopping by dad. Hope all is well.
